The main topic of this year was “Zero Hunger”
On April 22, 2015, the Paris Climate Change Agreement was signed in New York City; 175 countries compromise to comply with the 2030 World Agenda on sustainable development, through actions to protect our planet and try to improve our future.
Part of the professional education at EBC is to create entrepreneurs who care about their environment, and who through their creative spirit manage to obtain solutions to the needs of our planet.
In order to raise understanding throughout the community, EBC decided that this would be the central theme of the 12th Meeting of Entrepreneurs – Zero Hunger, which was held from November 7 to 9, 2019, at the Mexico City Campus. The projects of the students who attended on behalf of the different Campus focused on topics such as: water reuse, waste processing, application development for the agricultural industry, in order to provide financial consulting and benefits, as well as the production of foods made with organic ingredients.
All the teams did a great job, which shows that EBC students seek to have a positive impact on society and create environmentally friendly alternatives.
